One Hundred Dollar Web Design is personalized web design assistance by A. Benjamin Irby, a New York based web/graphic designer.

My goal is to offer you a unique design experience with emphasis on your needs and good design practices all at affordable prices and in a timely fashion.

You should download my "Getting Started" guide to help you compile your ideas for your website. While you don't have to download the guide it is a time saver and something you will find very useful.Click to download it in word or pdf format.

Once you are ready to begin you can send me your information via the form on the contact page and I will call you (usually with 24-48 hours) and have a phone consultation.

With the information you provided and the ideas exchanged during our phone consultation i will give you a price quote.

We will then set up an in person meeting at which a deposit of 50 percent of the price quote is due before work can begin.

I will start to work and will keep up updated with online previews of your developing website.

Full payment is due once the site is finished.

Here are some of the websites I have done along with a description of what they are about as well as what aesthetic, design and interactive elements they contain. The descriptions of the websites below are current as of the date indicated. The websites I design are owned by my clients and they do have the right to change them at any time. Those changes may or may not be consistent with the descriptions here.

Alesha Renee's Top 5ive
This website was a special project given to me by BET. My assignment was to make a website for Alesha Renee, the host of their show "The 5ive" that I was featured on. The website was designed so that it tied in with the theme of the show. It is composed entirely of flash. (7/11/07)

1. How long will the whole process take?
I try to turn things out within 7 to 14 days. If you've already submitted your contact info to me today I should be setting up a meeting with you shortly. The finishing time depends on whether you have all of your materials together and how soon we are able to meet. Once we meet and the deposit is paid I go to work as soon as possible.

2. What if I don't like the finished product?
Honestly, that's probably not going to happen due to the fact that I keep my clients very abreast of all that's happening as far as their website is concerned. As the website comes together I will upload it on one of my web servers and email the address to you so you can preview it as it is being worked on. If there is anything that you don't like at that point you would let me know and we'd work together to change it. With a working relationship like that it is very unlikely that you will be unsatisified with the finished product.

3. When will I have to pay?
There are two points where you will have to pay. By our in person meeting the cost of the website would have been quoted via our phone consultation 50% of that quoted cost of the website is due at that point before work can start. You should come to the consultation prepared to pay that. If for some reason you aren't prepared for that we can always reschedule the meeting. The remaining payment comes at the closing of the deal once you have approved the final version of the website. At that point the website will be given to you as a hard copy and uploaded to your server.

4. How much will I have to pay for you to begin work?
50% of the full cost of the site is required upon meeting for me to start work. NO EXCEPTIONS. For more information see the answer to Question #3.

5. Once I pay the deposit can I get updates on your progress before the website is finished?

Sure you can. I will update the progresing website to one of my web servers so you can view and approve it as I work.

6. Do I get a hard copy of the website or do you just upload it to my server?

Sure you do. You get it on a disc when everything's all done and I will upload it to your server.

7. Do you do updates?

I will update your site for you depending upon my availability for an additional cost depending on how much work has to be done.

8. How can we work via long distance?

Almost the same as someone would work with me face to face. Our consultation though will be over the phone and payments can then be sent to my PayPal accont.

9. Is there anything website you won't do?
Well, I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I absolutely won't do but as an independent contractor it is completely up to me what work I decide to take.

10. Since it's called "One Hundred Dollar Web Design" do all the websites cost $100?
No. $100 is a base rate for one page and with additions the price goes up from there. So yes it is possible for me to design a website for you that will cost $100 but that is not the price for every site I design.

11. How do you determine your pricing?
Once we've discussed what your ideas are I determine how much I will charge depending on how much work I will have to do. The price can be as low as $100 and it goes up from there.

12. Where can I get professional pictures taken?

If you have realized that you need new professional pictures taken for your website there is a gentleman by the name of Ricky Day that I highly recommend. He has an array of affordable packages via his website (http://www.romalisstudio.com). Tell him Adam sent you.
